STEAM Summer Camps

Kalimah's signature Play, STEAM & Culture Arabic Immersion Day Camp is back for 2025!

All camps will feature Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and Shami dialect immersion. Through lots of play, outdoor fun, hands-on instruction, role-play, songs, dances, movement, crafting, inventing, and more, campers will build friendships in communities and make lifelong memories. Campers will create their own inventions and products to sell and trade at "As-Souq" (the market simulation), an experience that will help them make connections between the historic Silk Road and today's universal economy and culture. Field trips, guest speakers, collaborative projects, and unstructured play time weave STEAM concepts of Chef Scientists, Building Engineers, Souq Entrepreneurs, Math Beauty, At the Beach, and more! All while hearing Arabic 90% of the time from camp staff and are rewarded for speaking it themselves most of the time too!

This year, we are making some changes to our programs in order to continue to provide top quality programs. We will admit a limited number of participants for each week of programs, but we are offering the programs for a longer period and possibly in different locations in order to reach more families.
